A Milestone Moment: The First Signature Bookings Event (2024
In 2024 I hosted my inaugural Signature Bookings event—a defining moment that brought my self‑published titles into a vibrant, real‑world setting. I envisioned an intimate gathering where I could read passages from my books, answer heartfelt questions and invite guests to linger, mingle and get their copies personally signed. It meant so much to me to meet readers face‑to‑face, to connect with new fans and give longtime supporters a treasured keepsake. By creating the event myself, I curated every detail—choosing a cozy venue, designing the promotional materials and crafting an experience that felt authentically “me.”
My first Signature Bookings event wasn’t just about selling books; it was about building community and celebrating perseverance. I chose a space where I felt comfortable and supported, which helped calm my nerves and made the evening feel like a celebration. I promoted it on social media and through direct outreach, never imagining how many people would show up to share in my journey. Reading excerpts aloud, answering thoughtful questions and signing books for each guest brought my story to life and underscored how important faith and dedication are in everything I do. From this humble beginning, I hope to build a community rooted in connection, encouragement and shared growth.
